Is this open to all skill levels? All Ages?

Players with a skill level of 3.0 or above are welcome to register.

Players must be at least 12 years old to participate.

What if I don’t know my skill level?

Go to the USA Pickleball Association site and review the skill level descriptions. Definition of Player Skill Ratings

Do I have to play with only others in my skill level?

No, players can play at any skill level. But experience at two prior Pickle Jam events has shown us that most players get the most enjoyment out of the event by playing with others near their own skill level.

How will you have courts divided between skill levels?

We will have 12 courts available for play and will assign courts either by skill levels or a range of skill levels based on registrations. For example, if we have a high number of 4.0 players, there will be more 4.0 courts.

Do I have to play ALL the time?

No. Players are free to come and go as they wish. Players often take breaks and go visit many of the fantastic things to do and see in the area.

What score do we play to?

All games will be to 11, win by one.

How long will I have to wait to play between games?

We’ve limited registrations to 132 players. With 12 courts, 48 players can play at one time. We anticipate most games will take an average of 15 minutes. Once you rotate off, you should not have to wait much more than 30 minutes for your next game even during peak occupancy.
